Characteristics

This name derives from the latin "refundere" meaning 'to pour again', and in fact this red wine, obtained from Veronese Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes takes its name from this process.It is poured over precious wines which give it its ruby-red, pomegranate-like colour and its characteristically sophisticated and agreeable bouquet, reminiscent of bitter almonds.Its dry, velvety, bitter, and yet rounded taste reveal its full body, formed during its time kept in wooden casks from Slavonia . This is a classic table wine and should be served at 18/20°C.
